    The NED (New Employee Development) Programme is designed to accelerate your growth and professional development as a new employee. It combines practical, work-based activities with short learning programmes and selected SETA-accredited Unit Standards—each aimed at helping you build confidence, sharpen your skills, and strengthen your professional competency and entrepreneurship.Although the NED Programme itself is not accredited, its purpose is to support your journey as a new employee, preparing you for future employment and long-term success on a unique career path. To complement this development, the programme includes some carefully selected SETA-accredited Unit Standards.For every activity and course you complete, you’ll receive a certificate to add to your CV, helping you showcase your achievements, highlight your growing skill set, and stand out for future career opportunities.

  • PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION:

    - You will be required to work online on the ÛPWID platform which requires a smartphone/laptop//computer and internet access

    - You are required to complete all assigned tasks, as these contribute to your recorded working hours and attendance. Please note that your monthly salary is directly tied to the progress and completion of your assigned activities.

    - Your first salary payment will be issued one month after the start of your contract date. Accordingly, your final payment will be made one month after the end of your contract, ensuring that you receive payment for a full 12 months of work.

    Herewith I declare:
    I am not presently employed in any capacity and do not anticipate becoming employed within the next 12 months.
    I acknowledge that UPWID acts on behalf of a third-party employer in the recruitment and onboarding process.
    I further confirm that I have submitted an application and understand that based on the outcome, I will be employed by a company - earning a salary of R400 per month and added to the New Employee Development (NED) programme for training and development.

    The following Process will take place after completion of this Form:

    1. Onboarding Confirmation and Acknowledgement

    2. Compliance Check
    Your submitted documentation will be reviewed and verified by our team.

    3. Interview Questions
    Once your compliance documents are approved, you will receive interview questions as part of the vetting process.

    4. Contract
    Upon successful vetting, a contract will be sent to you for review, acceptance, and signature.
